Update: This promotion has ended. The issues below have returned to their regular pricing.
Once again these have been available for a little while now, but they are definitely worth mentioning. DC Comics is giving away a lot of Scooby-Doo comics for free. The comics are available for free on Amazon kindle, Comixology, and the DC Comics App. The selection includes Scooby-Doo! issues 32-83, Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? issues 40-103, and Scooby-Doo! Team-Up issues 1-99.
Scooby-Doo! Team-Up is a series I have wanted to read for a while. I grew up watching DC animated shows, Scooby-Doo, and other Hanna Barbera cartoons. One of my favorites was the New Scooby-Doo Movies where Scooby a d the gang would team up with characters from other cartoons and celebrity guests, and that is basically what this book is. Every issue Mystery Inc. teams up with characters from DC Comics and the Hannah Barbera Cartoons. If you’ve ever wanted to see Scooby and the gang paired up with Superman, Johnny Quest, the Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Secret Squirrel, or the Flintstones then this is the series for you.
Both the Scooby-Doo! and Scooby-Doo! Where are You? Series channel the the feel of classic Scooby cartoons. These comics are obviously aimed at kids, but they are so much fun and if you enjoy the Scooby Doo cartoons then you will probably enjoy these comics, and there is no better time to give them a try then while they are available for free.
