Digital Comics Sales and Free issuesDigital Comics go on sale all the time. Whether it’s single issues for $0.99 or whole collections on sale for a few dollars there are constant sales on Marvel and DC’s websites and apps, Amazon’s kindle store, and through Comixology. The sale prices are usually the same, but sometimes a certain app advertises a sale the others don’t or sometimes kindle has lower prices without a sale. Whenever i want to make a purchase I shop around We just talked about Comixology as a subscription service, but it is by far my favorite comics app even without unlimited. It allows access to all my digital comic purchases in one place. I can shop for sales on any of the platforms listed above and then download them all in one place. You can also purchase comics through the Itunes store, google play, and other digital bookstores. I have seen some great sales on other platforms, but they are separate apps that do not sync to Comixology so I don’t use them myself. Marvel, DC, and Comixology also offer a rotating selection of comics that you can claim and own for free. Comixology currently has hundreds of free comics available here, and Dc and Marvel have a rotating selection of free titles in their apps as well.
